It’s a Ford huh? Be careful, something you need will probably be back ordered…I work at a Ford dealer, at the back parts counter. Ask me how I know…..🤣
In all seriousness, this is a cool project. I used to do rc cars back in the day, dabble in them still. I have a couple of friends who still race rc dirt oval and crawlers, if you get in a bind for something in the car side of this project, give me a shout. We can probably direct you to something that will work.

It’s a Ford huh? fix or repair daily, fix (or another word😉) on race day etc, I worked for Toyota for 20 yrs,- same thing there Cash, "sorry sir, it will have to come from Japan" (3wks) or Aust 2wks etc, - especially for imports. Had that problem myself having 2 older Toyotas.
Ford service here was diabolical,- you could walk into their main city branch parts store and get totally ignored (we'll help you when we can be bothered attitude) always had a bad name for service here. They had a bell on their counter, but people kept hanging on it for service, (because there was none) so they removed it. All staff were hidden, (or hiding) behind partitions.
needing to glue bits of wood at 90 deg I printed some of these

We know you'll figure it out 'Jonah' 😁
Say Hi when you get spat out again!🤞
If you need any help (which somehow I doubt) re mini/micro motors & RC gear let me know.
I've got loads in my stash and specs / sources in pdfs and links in my archive.
SFSG with the sticking.👍
Cheers, Doug 😎
well looks like I can get most bits inside just need to shortin the prop shaft, and sort rudder (home made 1) with speed controller on order... once i have all bits, then i'll use velcro hook and loop tape to fix bits, smarten wiring

Hi Jacko
Looks like a tight fit,but it will go by the look of it.
Don’t forget the balancing aspect re weight distribution.
Look forward to the next instalment.
Regards Bill.
