Bow is all shaped with filler, all the wood structure and hull have been sealed with eze kote.
Fibre glass applied to the hull, had a slight problem with glass sheet stretching when removing excess resin.

It's a kit from slec. Not ready to build just from plans yet, will see in the future if I'm brave enough.

She will be a lovely ship when she is finished, I look forward to seeing her on the water. She is very similar to one I am restoring, what plans have you got?

    Hi,
In my reply yesterday from my phone it wouldn't let me send any photos (said insufficient memory). So here are the photos I intended to send of my refurbished 50 year old 34" Crash Tender. As you can see it is creating a lot of spray. I therefore fitted a spray guard and the performance was much improved. In order to get the bend on the stringer I used a wallpaper steamer and a piece of plastic waste tube to steam it for about 45 minutes. I restricted the steam from escaping from the end of tube with an old towel. Hope this helps.

    Cheers
    Duncan

Hiya. Great model to build. I have the 34" version but it was the Aerokits version I built about 50 years ago. I refurbished it during lockdown and I got lots of bits from SLEC. They are a very helpful company. Good luck.😊
