Electronics problem.

I have finished my Al Khubar 2 harbour tug build and am now fitting the electrics.I decided purchase a P94 unit from Component Shop.
This was just over 12 months ago.
Unfortunately my build was put on hold due to health problems.
Recently I finished the build.
I fitted the P94 as per the instructions but the P94 failed to fully function. I contacted Component Shop and sent the unit back to them.
They have had the unit for over a month and apart from me phoning them and emailing them I have had no response from them.
Have any of you guys had experience with the Action Electronics P94 or with Component Shop.
The unit was £75 and as far as I am concerned a waste of money and I would have been better fitting 2 Esc’s.
Cheers Guys.

I’ve used Component Shop for many years but on this occasion I am very disappointed with their service.
For those who are not familiar with Action Electronics P94 it is a dual Electronic Speed Controller and Mixer module.

I am not entirely sure, but I thought Action Electronics (Action R/C Electronics Ltd) went into voluntary liquidation in 2013. Some time ago I tried to get a schematic for one of the early speed controllers but had no luck. Maybe the Component Shop bought the rights to the designs. Or I am talking about a different company.

Action Electronics

Component Shop took over the rights to Action Electronics from David Milbourn.

I would keep trying to get an answer from them. The squeaky wheel...
I have used their units in many of my builds and have only had one issue in any of the units.

Al Khubar electrics

With reference to the problem I had with my Action Electronics P94.
I have now received my P94 and wired up in my tugboat.
Everything working perfectly.
My thanks to Component Shop for their assistance.
