Excellent idea, building several wheelhouse to fit one hull. I think I shall do that. A FPV camera in one, extensive lighting for night sailing in another. Sound can be bulky, another wheelhouse fitted with that. A smoke generator. Dealing with just one "problem" at a time works better for me. Challenge I meant

Picnic Table is for real on Pete Spencer’s tugboat when not at work. He does community social activities throughout the year using the Loganville.

Maybe I should add all of those banners and flags to the model, making it a real eye catching vessel!

The wheelhouse is interchangeable with the Beamsville. One hull& two different designed wheelhouses.

Great R/C Boat Day.
All the vessels are looking great but I have to say that The Yellow Loganville tug with the picnic table in the back captivated my eyes.
What a concept.
Great creative thought.
AAA+++. 👍

Nathan Phillips Square Fun Day

We had five members and invited guests out today in Toronto at the Nathan Phillips Square pool. The water was only 4 1/2” deep and the steady wind made it pretty choppy. We got the occasional gusts too which made sailing the schooner a poor idea.

I rigged it up and many folks stopped by to ask questions and take photos. Some folks were from France and told us about a club in Paris that sails regularly too.

Anyone who knows about the Parisian model yacht club?

What a great place to sail. I am envious.
I love the schooner and I am sure it stole the show!

Rod, it is Miss Katherine from Mahone Bay, NS a scratch build. I could provide you with the drawings. It was my first attempt at scratch building a tug.

Similar to the event two years ago when the Metro Marine Modellers sailed in the shallow pool at Nathan Phillips Square. Its depth of only 5-6” kept the boats with a deep draft out of the pool. There still were a good variety of vessels including a schooner which were able to navigate this large pool of water to the delight of the public.

The event is from 10-3 on Friday, August 18, 2023
