Whilst Hobbies no longer list the plans they still hold the copyright.

One of my sister's, who is into dolls houses, has been asking me to build one at 1:12. She obtained the drawings sometime ago as Hobbies no longer list the drawings or the wood packs.

She wants it as a 'dolls house' though it can be built for RC as well. It is 40" long, though could be adjusted for longer I suppose, but narrow boats can get a bit unwieldy in winds so is probably a good size.

I thought it was going to be a simple build compared with my Faireys but there are a lot of parts to cut out!

Following! I have been keeping an eye out for a narrow boat plan/kit for a while.

are you looking for working or pleasure narrow boats

Riverside models kits came with a glass fibre hull and basic drawings and instructions,along with slightly oversized laser cut sheets.I was lucky enough to acquire a hull and was able to download drawings and instructions back in 2005,from these i was able to make my own plywood pieces and eventually a passable narrow boat,completed during lockdown.
