Hi Michel-cl.
If you add some small pieces of thin rubber to the inside of the closed end, it will help with grip and stop bits pinging out.

Hi Guys,
As you may know I have been working on a lot of small parts lately.
I got fed up with filing through my finger nails when holding these small parts.
And loosing the small parts to the carpet monster.

This is just a clothes peg turned inside out and a small piece of rubber added for extra grip.
And if more pressure is requires for sanding I just squeeze a little harder on the closed end.

Simple!
