    A racing NIMH battery wud hav connections to support a higher-current discharge,for speed. The wires wud be thicker, the connector wud be a high-end one, & the welded straps between cells wud be wider & thicker. You can use a race battery in a more-mild performing boat,running it for a longer period of time. For racing I wud pick LIPO, for crusing I wud pick NIMH. I prefer NIMH as there is less chance of a fire or explosion, whether charging or discharging....or just plain storage.

    I have two 3600 NimiH batteries whats the difference with racing batteries and non racing ones other than the cables are thinner IS OK TO USE THEM IN A BOAT
