Just a follow up to the fitting of the windows in my Aeronaut Diva. It was suggested to me to get an adhesive made by Revell. Unfortunately a lot of retailers were out of stock and those that did have it wanted ridiculous shipping costs to send such a small bottle. In the end I purchased Deluxe Materials Glue and Glaze which I used yesterday with great success. I now have my window glue of choice and certainly recommended it.
Another good thing about this adhesive is that it can also be used to create glass in small model window frames.

There is also Micro Krystal Klear by Microscale Industries. It can also be used to make "glass" for small port holes, widows, going lenses in place, etc. as it will bridge an opening and dries clear. Use it on my boat as well as my RC trucks. LEN1
A good evening The viscosity( thickness) of the Revell adhesive applies quite easily with the delivered small brush and it handles quite simply even if you do not have a straight hand. I would say just tryπππ Enjoy the building nobody is perfect Herman lifeboat lover

Another option Greg, which I have used for many years on plastic models, and now on my boats is simple gloss varnish, it take a while to go off, but you cannot see the join (Eric & Ernie)π

I use white Elmerβs glue at times Aldo if I have a small window like a porthole I use the glue as a window the clear Elmerβs dries transparent. I also found one of the goo glued that worked on my Creole Queen plastic windows. There is a CA fir clear plastic that works too

Hello Herman and Duncan. Thank you for your advice. Herman, I will have a look at getting some of the Revell glue. Duncan, I have been using both the stick and bud you have recommended but without much success. My problem is that I have Arthritis in both my hands and my dexterity is not what it used to be so I'm finding it difficulty to get into small confined places. I need to build bigger boats with more room! π

Hiya, I use the end of a wooden skewer to apply it to the window frame keeping the glue as far as possible away from the edge that will be on view though the window. If any does seep through onto the perspex window that is on show I use another skewer and sometimes a baby bud to remove the excess. Seems to work OK with a bit of patience! Good luck! Duncan
