Thought this may be of interest to classic boat lovers. The boats are on Lake Wakatipu in the South Island of New Zealand. Shown along with the smaller boats is the UK built hydrofoil 'Meteor' (run on the lake in the 60s/70s then laid up,- recently restored) and the well known 1912 steam ferry TSS Earnslaw. The small blue topped runabouts (12ft - one marked UDrive) are aluminium and were produced by (I think-) someone like DeHavilland Marine for hire purposes in the late 50s-early 60s. Very rare now. Powered by a Ford 10 from memory. Most of the runabouts and classics are NZ designed/built.
The video is on the NZ classic boat site 'Waitemata Woodys' Hope this link works.
