I also fly lots of RC planes and have a twin motor cargo plane with a rear hatch.

I need to drop a small vehicle with a parachute out of the back for some similar fun.😎😎😎

Yeah - there are a number of videos like this out there. Over three years ago we did one at a different pond. We added some scale items on the "beach" to spice it up a bit plus used a M16 quad 50 gun carriage and made the film look "period". Looks better than giant feet in the background.

I try to add a little extra to my videos. rather than showing boats going around in circles a distance where 95% of the view is water, I like to get in as close as possible and make them interesting. It does take some time to make these videos so those compliments keep me going.

I make no money on these videos, not even from YouTube. My interest is to expand model boating (and armor) via showing how much fun this hobby can be. I provide links to my web sites so that others have the opportunity to get more information on the models I build and those that I have upgraded.

So, I have one more, just finished uploading: Taking a Ride on Board a Springer RC tug. It is 3:30 AM, time to hit the sack. I hope you enjoy this one, again, something a little different.

Google, was on some LCM5s back in the 70's. (The LCM5 was larger and able to load a military semi with a trailer.) Had some interesting things happen on board including a guy breaking his arm when the boat hit the shore while going fast. They stop pretty quickly with that wide bow.

My grandfather on my dad's side was evidently in charge of one of the lct's on the Normandy landings.
His crew later made him a "replica " as a thank you for their safe passage and return. My mum still has it in her home 🏡

Nick, no this is the Bancroft 1/16 LCM, a RTR model. My son doesn't have time to build. Kids will do that to a person, especially the new born! (Grandfather again.)

Nice job! It sits nicely in the water and looks the part. Is it the Deans 1/24 scale LCM? I have one waiting to be built, it's about two projects away so a build for next winter...
