Dating ?????

Hello everyone,
I share Chris's opinion, but you have the possibility with “send PM”
But you also like to share what else is going on privately. And that my grandchildren are also interested in model building is something I can certainly share. . . . This is not a problem.
Keep on tinkering, I'm doing it!
Greetings Michel-C.

Yes, I don't think it's a problem mentioning what area we used to work in if retired but that's about it. Nothing more personal should be included.

Number of children etc. is irrelevant.

Dating ?????

In looking at the post, perhaps it was just unintentionally poorly worded. I often wonder about what other talents members have that brought them to create really good looking model boats. We come from varied backgrounds.

I noticed this particularly at model boat meets where we all have different backgrounds.

No worries, it's the madness of the internet. I complained out loud about my old clogs, and my hair falling out and low and behold my computer became crowded with Birkenstock advertisements, and men's hair club commercials. Dammit!

I agree with the deletion of your original post. I read it and thought it wan not appropriate here.

There is absolutely no privacy on the internet. So whatever folks type even in private gets hacked and info is spread all over including criminals.

So if you want to meet someone with similar interests in the hobby, you need to do it on a one to one method. Lacking that, you need to seek out a club and meet folks in person. lacking that, then you are SOL.

It is OK to post specific technical questions.

My opinion.

Wolle, don't get offended, don't get angry.
For me there was no problem but I believe that in this way the administrator protects the individual forumers, including you, especially you.
I had no doubts about your intentions, you didn't even need to specify it. For me everything is ok.

Dating ?????

My post has been deleted. It's not a problem for me if it's not wanted here. And yes, I know that I'm not on a dating site. But I want to make it clear that I was definitely not looking for a date. I'm happy with my wife. I just thought that it might be interesting for some people to know what else someone does besides model building. I also expressly stated that it should be voluntary. So again, I'm aware that I'm not on a dating site and I'm not looking for a date. As far as I'm concerned, this post can be deleted again. We're moving on to our hobby, model building.
