While in Victoria

The Victoria model ship building society clearly has a lot of talent, based on those photos.

As for the museums I visited, it was in the 90’s, and any photos have not been located or unpacked from my last move.
So many ships . . . and so little time . . .

PeeJay, the BC Natural History Museum’s model displays were closed, very disappointed ☹️, paid good $$ to see it and when inside, I found it was being restored.

Regarding the Marine Museum’s collection, my main interest was in the Sudbury. They had only this model of the Sudbury II and nothing on the converted WWII Corvette that became a salvage tug, SS Sudbury, at the museum. There ship reference library and drawing reference materials are stored in an off-site location.

We visited the Victoria Model Shipbuilding Society at their Sunday morning sailing pond.

They have a Facebook group where they post information about their club.

Hi Peejay, do you have any photos of this museum (of the models on display I mean)?

If they have not changed it, it is amazing. So many model ships. Also I believe the first court room.

The model ship museum in Savannah, GA is impressive as well
