Hey ho, PhilH, keep on moving forward on the recovery road, the bright side is at least the grass is mowed for the time being. Time to sort the mower out once you're back to full health 😊

Hang in there Phil! Totally get it. Stateside we hoard our meds because many of them cost a fortune; 90 day supplies are a must. But, take your prescribed doses (especially antibiotics) and save the extras. 😉

Hi all feeling washed out but improving got a blood test booked next week to see if I have cleared it, hospital unreal the amount of medication they waste ever one was being sent home with literally carrier bags full of meds they all ready had at home, yet I was trying to get some meds the doctor prescribed a little while before I went in hospital, unbelievable.

In 2020 and 2021 I had several falls that resulted in ambulance trips. My gerontologist outfitted me with an ODYSSEY, it goes on my wrist like a wrist watch and it has a accelerometer in it which detects a fall in any of three dimensions. The device also includes a cell phone and if I jar it then an operator comes on to check on me and if I don't respond then he has two other people to phone, to get them to check up on me. I believe the device is from Australia and I don't pay anything for it whereas the fall detectors in the old age homes the patient has to pay about $30 a month. I could have had one that hangs on a pendant around my neck but they felt that might interfere with the pacemaker telemetry so that is why I have the wrist watch type
