Good morning Alessandro, yes in the end I went back to the factory settings and reset. Whatever the glitch was it now appears to be corrected. I'll test run this weekend with any luck. 😊

Update, happy day's 😊. Finally sorted. Ended up resetting both tx and rx for the flysky i6 and back to normal, whatever normal is my world 😂.

Hi Alessandro, at the moment I'm just about staying awake from this mornings 2.30am start. Tomorrow I can have a lie until 4.30am 😂🤣.
I know that the batteries are all fully charged and have not had any issues with them before. I have a simple test rig set up so that I can test motors separately which I have used on the motors concerned and again they behave as they should 😊.
I'm thinking 🤔 that possibly the esc has gone into safe mode for some reason and reading about the other flysky issues, what I've done is clear the settings for now and maybe I'll try to reconnect tomorrow evening if I'm still awake and then update with any results. Thanks to everyone for their response and I'll let you know, bear 🐻 with us if I don't come back straight away as it's going to be a long week. Thanks again everyone 👍

Please inform us if the problem still exists or if you have solved it. If so, how?
The connections seem correct.
If the Esc is working perfectly, I too (as Toradog did) immediately think of an insufficient power supply.
It is one of the first suspicions when one user manages to work and another does not.
In reality, it could be not only the voltage but the current or both that are insufficient. Brushed electric motors do not turn if supplied with the correct voltage but insufficient current.
In this case, the battery pack should not be able to turn the electric motor even if connected directly to it. You could do a test in this sense, if the electric motor does not turn even with the batteries directly attached then the problem is the batteries, or the electric motor (but I imagine that the latter has already been tested by you).
However, BobbyN's diagnosis intrigues me and interests me a lot.

I had an issue with one of my Flysky I6 radios a few months ago. The rudder would work but the motor would not, I sought advice from fellow modellers on this forum but unsure how to link this thread. The bottom line was I solved the issue by going to a new model setting and it has worked fine since. It has resulted in the model 5 option on the radio being unusable because channel 3 does not work. On model 6 it all works well. Perhaps I could reset the radio but this would mean loosing all the settings I currently have for other models and I really do not want to resort to this.

So my advice would be to try resetting your radio to factory settings or just go to a new model and see if it works. If neither work then I guess it probably points to a wiring issue.

I have a Hobbywing 1060 ESC and it needs two or three movements of the throttle stick before it bursts into life. It beeps once when I switch it on and then beeps again before it flies into life after two or three movements of the stick. Could this be your problem too?

Wow. that appears to be a tiny battery to run the radio and the motor off of. Are you running your motor off the same battery? I am guess it is a NMHI pack or a lithium pack? If it is the latter, has it been charged? It is clear that the battery has enough power to run the radio, but that is only 5 volts. If the battery is run down, then there may not be enough voltage for the ESC to operate.
What is the voltage of the motor? Also, can you turn the motor over by hand?
