Information about this boat is really sparce.
I was successful at being the winning bidder, and am now the proud owner.
It has "old school" electronics, which I will upgrade ASAP.
I'm looking forward to getting it wet to see how it performs.

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.
Since the hull was molded in B.C., the hull shape, & the below waterline location of the running gear this almost for certain is a logging tug. That despite it being constructed as a fireboat.
Do a bit of a rebuild & you will have a very nice little boat. I would carefully check out the running gear. Since the shaft is well below the waterline preventing leaks is rather tricky.

On one of the rc blog sites from way back in 2009. They were a small outfit in British Columbia, now out of business? 🤔 They also made fiberglass tunnel hulls it seems.
I like it DW! If you can grab go for it. Certainly a curio and a nice addition to the collection. 😉

Does anybody know anything about this company?
I stumbled across a Fire Tug for sale locally.
It has a fibreglass hull, and I can see "Bandit Boats" and part of the phone number with area code 250.
Not a fancy boat, but unique.
Anybody have any knowledge? How many different models did they create? When were they in business?
I'm gonna make an offer on it, just because .....
Thanks for any help you can give!
