On Sunday, June 8, our club had it's annual Parade of Boats event. This is our biggest event of the year, and this year it was very well presented and received. We had over 120 boats on display in the pavilion and on the water. The weather was perfect, and there was a great crowd of spectators. All day long, there was a line of youth waiting their turn to "drive" one of our Vac-U-Tug Boats using the custom consoles built by one of our club members.

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.
