Have had my ups and downs with AliEx. In general everything I've received comes within a month, with customs being a problem. However, I have not made an AliEx order since the "small order" tariffs kicked in on August 25th. So, I probably won't place any orders as everything stateside is so volatile now. I not sure what company or what country it may be coming from I can trust.
In essence, it's a mess over here.
Direct orders of replacement parts from manufacturers in China is an extreme hassle. One horrible experience with Trumpeter took 13 weeks to sort out. What helped with that was my almost constant bitching. So it helps to keep after them Pat. Generally the order will be fulfilled when some careless sob, who was probably responsible for the order in the first place, finds it and moves it along the shipping "chain of pain."

Hello everyone, for my part in France when I order from aliexpress, they are super fast, less than 10 days to deliver to me and I have never had any problems until now.

I use Ali express and have found them very good sometimes the wait is a bit long but that was in the blurb before I bought the item.
A recent purchase was 4/5 size sub C 2800mAh NiMh cells which have proved to be excellent. I am no longer bothered by batteries from China.
They perform much better than the AA cells of similar capacity.

I recently had Ali Express apologise for an issue with the delivery of a brushless motor - the supplier somehow lost the tracking, so Ali Express fined them and ordered them to give a full refund, which turned up in my bank account a week or so later. I've since ordered another from a different brand, again through Ali Express, and I believe it's about to arrive.
Generally, I've not had too many issues, but then I probably don't use them as much as some....

Yodel have the worst delivery record of all the companies in the UK. Interesting that they have now been taken over by InPost. Inpost for sending things are excellent, but have yet to try receiving any orders through them. Don't know who they use for deliveries, but if they do not do something serious about Yodel, they will lose a lot of credibility.

I have dealt with AliExpress for over a decade and overwhelmingly the service has been excellent. However, on a few occasions things have gone missing or have been damaged in transit. One thing I always do in such cases is deal directly with AliExpress and not the seller. I have had situations where the seller says they will refund or will do something and when I have brought this to the attention of AliExpress the matter has been dealt with expeditiously.
I did have one situation where I got a refund for a package that was not delivered, I re-ordered it and received the items. Some six weeks later I received the original package. I was happy to return the original package and contacted AliExpress they said to contact the seller. The seller took some time to get back to me and kept saying that they had refunded me, which they had. I even offered to pay for the item which I was happy to add to my stock but this proved difficult for them to understand. After 10 or so emails back and forth it appears they still thought I was trying to get a refund. So the AliExpress system does not seem to cope with anything out of the ordinary.

Some (but not all) couriers are bloody useless, and simply don't care in the slightest.
Touch wood, I've been pretty lucky overall. One or two couriers who've said 'delivery attempted' when someone's been home all day, so I know they haven't even tried. More like they've run out of time, or got the order of their drops wrong and couldn't be bothered to go back.
As frustrating as it is, I hope your order does turn up, eventually.

Between AliExpress and the local courier (Yodel) they seem to have lost my last order - valued at £200. Both blaming each other and will not refund till 40 days have passed.
Lots of lies coming from both sides
In short a bloody awful service - anyone had a simlar esperience ?
