It is strangely reassuring to read about your experience with super-glue and dropping things - not to mention your glasses falling off when trying to look at things through them!
My own experience with almost everything you mention replicates these experiences and although I can sympathise - it has also made me smile as I realise I am not alone in some of the cartoon like situations I also find myself in!

Never too old to learn

Hi all I have been doing a simple job of embedding 4 small nuts to an alluminium frame that holds a servo. It is a sail arm winch for my Wild Duck yacht. It sound simple but I spent all day with 6BA nuts and epoxy resin and then cyano. I was eventually glued to the holder and had to cut myself free with a scalpel.
My fingers are not as sensitive as they were and what with dropped nuts, I hunt for them with a strong magnet and some screws which look identical but the threads are marginally different, and the cyano migrating into the threads on the nuts, I wonder if the universe has taken against me!
I got 2 done without problem but I am going to glue some hardwood in place so that I can use small wood screws (just thought of that!) instead.
Anyone else have a poor relationship with glue? It used to be model boat window frames but now it is glue, having 1 and a 1/2 frozen fingers on my left hand does not help also reading glasses which fit nicely but as soon as you look down they fall off. I do have a banded 'hat' with drop in magnifying lenses, which are excellent if I can find them!
Anyway, press on, must finish within the next 4-5 weeks ready for our public Model Show.
