Picked up his kit same place as I did - fellow who made them was not intending to sell them - reluctant in fact . Mine is his 3rd attempt I believe - cant check now as he is no longer with us . Think his wife persuaded him to sell them. He was experimenting with molding hulls etc. Think the last one was the one he used for himself. We do some forming with 2mm Perspex - failure rate is about 10% no matter how careful you are so understand why he made a few. The hull is about 2 mm finished size - the superstructure a lot thinner and styrene - not certain but think the hull is ABS. Very few Breede kits around - not sure you can even get a hull anymore - and the plans are no longer available from RNLI.

    Hi Peter,
Phil seems to have a lot on his plate, what with his theatre work and blogging an' all!
Don't think he made any attempt to produce anything commercially.
Tried to find a mention in his blogs of where he got his Brede kit. Unsuccessfully☹️
    Good luck with yours 🀞
    Cheers, Doug 😎

    Hi Doug,
dug out the Brede kit - been packed away since 2009 - almost identical to the Kingston one other than the rails which have to be retro fitted. The moulding is not the best but its a very sturdy hull and easily sorted - was never intended as a commercial product - he only made 5 or 6 and was a reluctant seller.
Tried contacting Mr Parker - so far no response. Still hoping.........

    Hi Red,
Phil is still aroundπŸ˜‰ He apparently built the Brede around 2009.
Seems to be a busy lad!
