I have three of these units and find the sounds excellent. The added advantage is being able to sync gun flashes with the respective sounds and add whatever you want in wav. format.
Downside is the software is ancient and long winded and will not work on a Mac.
I would still highly recommend it.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure?

Sounds (😮) very likely Peter.
Seems several people had problems setting that up.
We'll never know now, since he started getting offensive.

Hi Peter,
Seems jjc went belly up around 2007/2008!
Common alternative in Northern America seems to be Model Sounds INC in Ottawa Canada.

Not exactly cheap, but pretty comprehensive👍
They were (in 2008) going to use Action R/C Electronics as UK distributor, but that idea died, for known reasons, before it got going.
They were originally called Model Solutions of Canada Ltd, until 2011.
If you now search for ModelSolutions.ca you'll end up on an Online Casino page in California🤔

Hi Mouldbuilder, you are correct, JJC are no longer trading, I spoke with Jim the owner, a few years ago, regarding a couple of Master units that were faulty, he informed me he was packing it in due to stress, but sold me his own four master units, that's
the one with the amplifier built in.
They are superb sound modules, but you cannot operate a slave without a master unit, maybe that's where the problem was!😐

Doesn't surprise me Peter.
BTW Mr B just posted another odd, and this time insulting to us, post.
So I deleted it.

Hi Doug.
I have looked through all of the forums which are linked to JJC Electronics and it appears that they are no longer trading. Perhaps nobody could link the whistle to the slave and the jbc making some very angry people?😁
I cannot promise to finish one project before starting another. I know, I tried.

Hi Marky,
I was a bit surprise with his answer and actions.
A little clearer explanation of what he wanted to achieve was all that was needed.
