I was looking for a waterproof camera I could mount on my boats and came across this. The part number is SQ12 and it seems to be generally available on-line. I've seen them for sale for as little as £6 although I paid £10.02 as the delivery promise looked better. It arrived yesterday from China, 10 days after ordering which was a surprise as the expected delivery was some time in September. Worth paying a little more to avoid the frustrating wait.

The camera measures approx 1" on each side and comes with a waterproof enclosure and several clips/brackets for mounting. It doesn't include a memory card, which needs to be sourced separately. I got a 32Gb card for around £3 from a different supplier - which also arrived yesterday 👍.

The camera will record sound as well as video, it can take stills, and has night vision LEDS. It can also be set to activate when motion is detected. It is claimed to be waterproof to 96 feet - not planning to test that! 😉

Downsides: The instructions are difficult to understand, you can't view what you have recorded until you download it to a device with a screen. It records continually, but the recording is split into separate files, each of 5 minutes duration.

I gave it a quick try out this morning. Really pleased with the results.
