Good Buy????

Well I have taken a few days to think things over with regards to just what I am going to do with the boat,

She is now just going to sit on the shelf until I can find some time to refurb her for my ninth month old grandson, (that gives me a lot of time)

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

I'm not sure that most of us don't have a number of boats on the go.For me it's how I work.If I have a few I'm working on it may be I'm stuck or waiting for parts or it may be waiting for good weather to go and paint.

Good Buy????

Colin H

I have the build log on the Deans Wachat AM Rhein at the moment, this morning was a first for me I used a Halfords Matt lacquer rattle can, I am going to let it dry for a few days before I try putting the next colour on.🤞

As for my next build that is the MMM Lady "T" I have had the hull for twenty-one years so I think it is time I started working on her.

Well Fred if that's all that's stopping you, then it won't be long before we see something from you, whatever the boat.
Cheers Colin.

Good Buy????

Thanks guy's
The thing is I have at least four boats that I am working on and off, and I must finish them before I should start on another one. I have one that I have not sailed in two years and another one that has not seen water for a year.

Note to my self STOP buying any more

Hi Fred,
Looks good, you seem to have a lot of fittings and window frames!
I would replace prop-shaft with a modern stainless as the old ones rust, also lookout for delaminating ply as this is a common problem with these vintage boats.
I'm sure you are aware that the original boat (full scale) had twin motors etc. but you rarely see them in the models.

I picked up this R.A.F. Crash tender for a good price, the thing it I just do not know what to do?

I think she must have been I/C at some time in her life, also some one has started to try refitting her.

sorry that the photos do not run in order.
