Let there be Lights!

Or if you're a miserable old git like me you buy cheap Christmas tree lights from the pound shop or even better wait until after Christmas (bah humbug) and buy them in the sales from garden centres. You can get all sorts, from those that run off batteries to those that need a small transformer. I like the very small surface mounted ones as they come pre-wired.
Best wishes to all.

Hi Martin555

I use a company called Bright Components for my LED's and resisters.
Peter has been very helpful when I have asked him if my calculations are correct, and when I am wrong (all of the time) he has come up with the correct answer and given me some advise of what I should use, also I think that he's costs are O.K not as cheap as HK but a lot faster

Fred
That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

Ralph of RAM products just called me and said they are fully up and operational waiting for people to call with their orders. The Canadian distributor for his products is no longer in business, but he differently is and wants everyone to know about it.

They are prewired just plug in a 9 volt battery like you use in your smoke detector. http://www.ramrcandramtrack.com/ramsys1_27_09.pdf

It was given to me by Donnieboy and are the navigation lights.

His Park Flyer lights are being shipped to me. "RAM 132 PARK FLYER LITES. This system now includes 4 ultra brite LEDs, 3 non flashing red, green and white nav-lites with one flashing white LED for the top or bottom of the fuselage. For models to 48 inch span, our new plug and play power connectors attach to any model so there is no need for Y connector or an extra channel. This 7 gram system draws only 6 MA in a 10 minute flight from your 4.8 to 12 volt battery source." said Ralph

Hi Ron,
What LED's and resisters did you use.

Martin555.
If it looks right it probably is.
