Nice project! That is quite a complex mechanical arrangement of the motors. Will they stay
    in phase over time?
I can't wait to see it in the pond doing it's thing!

Looks good, we call it hammer blow here.
First the special colour you want, then the shrink varnish over it.
    Thanks for your idea . . .

Since my first comment I have been able to open your link and see the short hovercraft video Phil.

The model is described as a GRIFFON so I am guessing that I should be able to find out more about the model online - maybe there is a commercially available kit for it?

I will see what I can find out about building and running an r/c hovercraft.

Hi Bob, yes the Griffon belongs to Hayling Island Model Club Member Mike.
The club are a great bunch of guys with a wide range of model knowledge and I enjoy being able the share media from such an enthusiastic club.
Rob is the website manager who sent me the video clip - I thought it too good not to share through my RCSailing channel while experimenting with "Youtube shorts".
P.S my channel is not monetarised - its just for fun.

Reciever problems
Hello....Im after a bit of advice...Im trying to work on some rc subs and need 40mhz equiptment but I'm hitting problems getting recievers to work. I have a couple of 40 Meg hitec transmitters that work with 40 Meg hitec recievers in other models so I know they work. I have bought 3 different make recievers from different sellers and fm 40 mhz crystal sets and none seem to work...dual conversion or single makes no difference....Im running out of ideas has anyone got an answer to the problem?

Loved the pond at Gorleston, did thousands of laps running around chasing my pond yacht , 1st 2 weeks in June, 1961/65. Fantastic holidays, hated the 6 hours to get there though, from Bolsover, Derbyshire.

Spooky !
The "Spooky" Halloween night sail took place on Sunday 29th October 2023.
Sorry for the poor video quality. Conditions were difficult in the "pitch dark " however, just for fun - it`s nice to have a record of the event than non at all. Commodore Barry says thanks to all who took part !.

Lights on the Mote
It was our club’s ‘lights on the Mote’ evening today. I think the day’s heavy rain kept many folk away but we did get a couple of hours where the weather was fairly clear. I took my Aeronaut Diva along, liberally decorated with cheap string lights that I got at Primark…

Renovation of a lovely old boat.
I decided to renovate a very old model Clyde harbour tug which belonged to my Dad. This has been in the family for over 80 years (Dad would have been 100 this year) and was in need of some TLC. It is now fully radio controlled and runs from 2 x 18650-2000mAh batteries. Length: 41cm, Beam:11cm, Draft: 6cm, weight: 1.5Kg.
