Toby Tug (previously a Seaport Workboat)
Here's a heavily modified Seaport Workboat - Toby. Videos to follow - the crane now works in three axis, and it has sound courtesy of a Technobots sound module. The searchlight works, as do the radar, running lights and nav lights.

HMT Confident
HMT Confident built by my late father, Scratch built over two and half years. Twin 65mm props driven via a scratch built gearbox by one 800 size motor. Original 2 channel Sanwa radio fitted and working fine. Lights, working radar, water canon, winch, horn and bow thruster all of the 2 channel by using the trims and micro switches.

Looks a very atmospheric model. Your Dad should have been very proud of this. Very nice.

Bought this from a charity shop in Gillingham. Put in new prop shaft motor and servo's etc. She is a very heavy boat and sits a little low in the water, want to use it for the lights on the lake events eventually.

Thank you figtree7nights, up for sale now!! it's stupid on 4 cells, mad on three but behaves very well on two. I sail it mainly on three cells as I have more 3 than anything else.

new bright sea ray sundancer painted
It is an rc model that consent the customizing of the cockpit cabin but it comes in cheap colours (red, yellow and gray) so I decide to go to a real nautic shipyard to paint with nautical lacquer in a real creamish White! added some decal for water line and lights and scratch build anchor

HMS GREY GOOSE
Finally managed to put a little film together of my 1.24 Grey Goose taken at the Herne bay regatta. As well as the usual turning guns, lights and ship sounds this boat fires working torpedo's using a CO2 gas system. Will be putting some film of this on youtube shortly.
If your interested I'll be exhibiting at the Southern Model show this weekend and will demonstrate the torpedo system at the show. Hope to see you there.

This is a 30-inch static model of the trawler that had suffered damage and had most of the deck fittings missing when I got a hold of it.
It was 'de-constructed' by Victor Marcham of the Mablethorpe Model RC Boat Group. Being a static model, it had to be bored through to fit a propshaft, a motor and rudder, and had new decking, mast and working LED lights.
It has yet to be weighted so pond trials can begin.

Thanks Peter ! I think it makes a build far more interesting when you know that it is a replica of an actual vessel and to know her history. Enjoy her.

You are right - it does make it more interesting... despite there being precious few pictures of her around! I'm as pleased as punch with the way she looks now.
