😛Hello, here is my Ton12. Built over 30 years ago and still going strong. Since this was my first ship that I built, I will never give it away. I named it my wife's name.

I also put my wife's name (Francesca) on the schooner brig I recently put in my Harbour.
I gave the model to my son so the problem is possibly his, but I don't think he will ever sell it. ▲

I am happy that Wolle's model has been appreciated.
Two days ago I visited her Harbor and realized that the most recent comments were from seven months ago, yet she hadn't received enough attention (my opinion). I suspected that the blog had escaped the notice of many and that if they had seen it, many would have appreciated it, in any case many more than those who had seen it up to seven months before. I really think I was right, my suspicions were well founded, in fact after my message two days ago there have been many others of well-deserved compliments and appreciation. I'm happy for Wolle, mission accomplished ahahahahahah. ▲

Some good tips for my Billing Gina 2 Krabbenkutter. Actually I believe that the registration number should be on both sides of the bow. Two or three letters for the home port/port of registration and a number. I didn't comment to be critical. It was more of a comment on what my first perception was. I'm used to seeing the boat name on the stern. When I saw "Krabbe", my first reaction was that you made a tongue in cheek reference to your wife as a "Crab". It made me smile. I thought it humorous, and imagined the reaction from my wife if I had made that inference. It wasn't intended as pointing out a mistake on your part, or a put down. Well, then my wife's name is probably "Krabbe". That was a mistake from my side. But my wife knows that I dedicated the boat to her. And I won't sell either of them. 😉

This is my TON-12, purchased from a German sailor, more than 14 years ago. Now, it sails under the Spanish flag and remains as agile and pleasant to sail as ever. Very good boat!!

Hello The shrimp cutter is from "Graupner" and is called "Krabbe" and TÖN12 is actually at the front of the bow. TÖN12 is the vessel's fishing number. I've included a link.

DWBrinkmann, the convention here in ontario, Canada, is that the name of the boat is above the name of the port on the stern and the registration numbers are on each side of the prow. Occasionally you will see the name of the boat Midway down the side, but that is less common as typically the manufacturer has put some huge deckle in that spot. My first guess was that Krabbe was the name of his Home harbour

When I saw you named it after your wife I first looked at the stern for the name ... saw Krabbe, and thought "WOW, he's brave". Then I noticed the "other" boat name on both sides of the bow. Very nice boat, I'm sure Gela is proud to have it named after her.
