Beautiful work and the videos where you show it sailing, have motivated me to try to build one of these catamarans.
A few questions:
1 – when you say that you started working on a 1 meter catamaran; do you mean the sails of an IOM?
2 – when you talk about an 18-foot "Hustler MK2" "Class A" catamaran designed by Ron Given, do you mean the size of each hull of the catamaran?
3 – That's about 5.59 meters of hull... did you build it in any particular scale or based on the size of the sail?
4 – The dummy you used (very accurate, by the way), what scale is it?

1. Should I put a switch on the battery supply ?
2. If so, what rating should it be ?
3. There is no switch to the receiver/ESC at present and I believe there should be one. Can anyone confirm this please.
Now, for reference, the circuit comprises the following:
A 5S 5000mAh 30C Lipo battery; 40A fuse; 90A marine ESC; 3 20A fuses; a 46x50 brushless motor; Flysky receiver. (as yet no switches)
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. 😉

This is my TON-12, purchased from a German sailor, more than 14 years ago.
Now, it sails under the Spanish flag and remains as agile and pleasant to sail as ever. Very good boat!!

A very dear friend of mine is finishing a Riva Aquarama from plans, at 1:10 scale. Now, he finds himself with the necessary acquisition of the metallic details of the deck: Navigation lights, cleats, vents, etc.
Could you tell me a store where to buy these accessories? Any link? Anyone who can print them in 3D?

What's new!!... when I went to get the model of the PT-109 out of my storage room, I realized that it IS NOT FROM ITALERI but from Lindberg and that its scale is 1:32... what a surprise, hahaha!!
So, I will have to work under these new parameters... still, I can't get over my astonishment!!. I was convinced it was 1:35, hahaha!😛😛😛😛😛😛

I had kept an ITALERI model of JFK's PT-109 for more than nine years.
What is my intention now? Build it for RC, but configured as PT-596 or PT-617... since I have gotten a lot of information from both boats. For now, I'm worried about building with a 3D printer, the 40mm cannon that it had in the bow... probably salvaged from some scrap of a P-39 Airacobra fighter.
I'll let you know the progress. This winter I'm going to work hard on it...
Any preference between the PT-596 or the PT-617?
