   Hi Nerys, its a Graupner 'Optimist' from the 70s. I have the same boat I bought in 1978 which I'm slowly re furbishing (see my harbour) nice yacht which sails well and is reasonably fast. Hulls are ABS with ply decks. Many photos and vids on line as there are quite a number of restored models today. L 42" 11" beam

   i dunno about class but model was built in 1971 i got her in a bad state and repaired hopefully if weather not too bad on sunday i will get chance to take out on local pond

   She looks good, should sail well. Is she any particular class? Was she scratch built? A credit to you whatever.
