Mgb2009 was retro fitted with a gas turbine in 1947. Tribal class frigates were COSAG,(combined sream and gas) in early 1960s.

I only use super glue with the brush built into the cap now. Far less waste.

I have one very similar, possibly built from the same plans. One tip I was advised is, (if your bowsprit is retractable) when extended use a piece of cocktail stick to lock it in place rather than a metal pin.
In event of a collision with the bank or another boat the cocktail stick should snap, thus reducing the damage!
These boats a great fun to sail, enjoy.

Hi, completely new to the hobby and have bought a Billings Blanckert with no electronics fitted. What would be the best motor and servo system for this model?
It has twin rudders. I'm advised a low revving high torgue motor would be best.
