She is American. She is Model of the Emma C Berry an historic vessel being restored in Noank Connecticut. I used the plans from
an old Sterling kit and scratch built it using different construction (planked on frame rather than balsa sheet panelling) and other modifications (eg keel). The larger 3 master is an experimental build of no particular design.

Does anyone have any information about the actual vessel which Billing's modelled as the Samson 2?

DF95 class yacht. Absolute fun to sail with the advantage of convenient size to transport. (5/10)

Sails only - no motor. Built from a Speedline Models kit. Performs surprisingly well but need a moderate breeze to make headway. (5/10)

Very interested in your experiences with this vessel - love to share more. I am currently scratch building one from the original kit plans but have used plank on frame construction and incorporated a detachable keel. Currently fitting the standing rigging.

Scratch built from old kit plans but planked and fibreglassed rather than balsa sheeted as in the original. Modified to fit a removable keel. Winch and continuous loop sail control fitted under deck.

I don't recall exact time. it was over two years ago that I got the kit but I do recollect having to wait a little.

Speed line kit completed a year ago. Sails well and is fun to handle. Has done many hours on the water and is still in good shape considering the conditions I have subjected it to.π

HI Chris
interesting to come across your account (new member to the forum) as I am also building the Annie and am at a very similar stage of construction. I have encountered the same issue with the positioning of the cabin. I have planked the deck using styrene strip (as it will be painted not varnished). Like you I had some missing parts in the kit (but also some unnecessary duplicates).
I will try to upload photos shortly and will keep watching your progress.
