Hello everyone, I hope this post finds you well.
I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction with this query, I'm trying to find a specific Sea/Ship Captain Figure.
It was made of metal (possibly white metal), somewhere between 1/30 and 1/35 scale (very sure it was 1/32), typical captain's beard and moustache, wearing a jacket/coat, captain's hat and posed as if leaning on a stanchion railing. Looked somewhat like the figure in the link below:

Thank you very much everyone for your help, I'll remove the red (+ve) cable from the 10A ESC as this seems to be the simplest option given both ESCs have a built in BEC.
@RNinMunich I currently have 2, Bizmork and a smaller but similarly themed one named Gork's Revenge. You can find photos of both on the linked Facebook page. I plan to upload photos of Gork's Revenge here when I find the time to modify/rebuild her.
It was my first 'proper' attempt at building a model boat and I've learned a great deal since building her and want to go back and redo the internals including as big a motor as I can squeeze in for towing.

A question for the model boat hive mind please. I have a model with 2 Mtroniks ESCs, 1 is 25amps running everything and a 10 amp one running a smoke unit.
Each one is connected to a 5500mAh 3S 35C Lipo, do I need to disconnect the red power cable from the 10 amp ESC or is this only necessary when running 2 matching ESCs (with separate batteries connected to each) that have been mixed for running a twin prop vessel?

Thank you for the helpful replies everyone, @dave976 I believe both my transmitters are capable of that though I must admit I am not familiar with the method. I have a Turnigy 9x and a RadioLink AT10.

I've been interested in building a twin-propeller steam tug with rudder and was looking at the 20 Amp P94, however Component Shop haven't had them in stock for a long time. I've not been able to get in touch to enquire.
Could anyone suggest an alternative board/setup that would provide the same function where the twin props and rudder work together for steering please?
P.S. I've looked into the Mtroniks wtail mixer module and paired with 2 ESCs seems feasible?

Hello I'm looking for a potential motor to replace a Machubi 555 Brushed motor, ideally with similar amperage.
I did have one bookmarked that was in the region of £45-£50 and had a black casing but I lost it when my web browser decided to revert to an earlier point so a lot of said bookmarks were gone!

I'm sure the answer is obvious to many but I've looked online for these wire loops/hooks as a simple means of attaching rigging to the deck. Do they have a specific name? I've tried a few searches on google and nothing close comes up.

This is why I like my current model boat club, I have a habit of building model boats that don't adhere to any prototypes and are purely freelance as do some of said club's members. One of the long standing members made a floating kitchen sink!
The aim when building and sailing them is to have fun! I haven't had a cross word said about any of my craft (at least not to my face) so can only assume they bring an element of joy to others as well.
If you have a difference of opinion or grievance with another member then resolve with it appropriately, not drag the rest of the club into it and spoil things for others.

Her hull is fibreglass (not sure what it was meant to be, it was an ebay find) with wood frames inside. The superstructure is almost entirely styrene sheet layered to give the appearance of crudely cut and rivetted metal sheets.

Hello everyone, first post but I'm hoping someone can help. I've been trying to find this video but unfortunately it's been deleted from youtube. It had a fleet of around 10-15 model tugs pushing a canal boat round and docking it, I think it was at Ellesmere port and the photo is the only media I've found of it. By a slim chance does anyone else have footage of this, a copy of the video or know of a means to recover the video (already tried archive.org) please?
