Score for Ada - Italian Motor Launch should be 10/10 not 5!!!

Asa by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 1 month ago
[Score: 5/10] 32" Asa Single Propellor - Comments: Italian style 1030’s Motor Launch. Built from scratch by a member of Norwich Model BoAt Club.. I purchased it through a silent ballot and am very proud and pleased to now own it. It was given for the ballot by the wife of the late member of the club.

Looks fabulous and, as you say, the surrounding views are fabulous. If ever I am near I will certainly come for a sail. Thank you for sharing your location.

Well done you. It certainly is worth persevering to get things right.... as I am finding building my first boat. All these things you guys show on the various’forums’ are so very useful and interesting. Thank you.

A lovely boat. The hard work and time now must seem well worth it.

Thought members might like to see these Naval vessels and yachts from Ho An in Vietnam. If you go there you must visit this amazing shop. All can be shipped to anywhere in the world. I got my Vietnamese Junk from there.

Please forgive my occasional incorrect spelling... I am Partially Sighted! Thank you All.

To you all - thankyou. I have found all your comments very useful. You can’t have too many clamps! I also am finding my Mini Wirkstation useful plus the smaller and larger cutting green mat as a base. I’ve also learnt ‘patience’ building my Wills Everard. Thanks again.

Bulwark capping by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 4 months ago
Thanks to all of you re your posts of your various builds - I am learning a lot from you, your ways of adapting and with the photos, understanding much about building. My Wills Everard is coming on and I am, I think doing OK.

Police launch by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 4 months ago
Lovely Police Launch. Well done you. I am building my first boat - Billings kit ‘Wills Everard’ - doing it slowly and carefully. Thoroughly enjoying though.

Will be on holiday - I am sorry to miss this. I would encourage anyone to go to this event though - it is a great boating pond and very friendly people.

Another great build from the Gascoigne boatyard

Albion et al by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 5 months ago
Workshop finished - varnished with a very light stain. Building started on a Billings kitof a Yarmouth Barge - my first build.

Albion et al by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 5 months ago
Workshop finished - lightly varnished. Very pleased. Started on Billings Barge. The Vietnamese Junk was purchased in Vietnam and built by my friend Gascoigne... he added the Panda!

Imara by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 5 months ago
Such detail here. I hope one day I might achieve this too. Well done you.

Looks great.... a ‘team’ effort. Well done. I’m just beginning my first build having just finished a workstation to house tools etc. All very satisfying.

Albion et al by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 5 months ago
That’s what I thought too. Thank You

Albion et al by Baggie Fleet Admiral!   Posted: 5 months ago
Nearly completed Mini workstation - pleased with my first ‘build’. Any thoughts ‘To varnish or not to varnish’?
