This was a Touchwood static kit that my boy brought back from Coniston, it said it could be converted to Rc and had some sketchy drawings that were not very good. I decided to go brushless with it and lipo battery, was not an easy job as had to go it alone to find out C/G and drive set up. The kit was very poor with a twisted hull and resin parts that were far too heavy, I made some aluminium planing wedges and various other parts to save weight. This project took the best part of 5 years to complete as it would go back on the shelf as I got stumped for ideas then back off again as I found a bit more inspiration, overal it came out well and runs on rails with. Good turn of speed as you can see in the vid I posted. (Motor: 2881kv) (ESC: ETTI) (10/10)

I restored this from a basket case, luckily the decals were in the box and never used, I reckon its from the late 1980s quite a collectible boat nowadays, runs lovely, has The optional trim tabs which it needs. I painted it with enamel paint then clear coat over the decals pretty model. (Motor: Os 10 with pullstart) (9/10)

This is my carbon hull Drag Cat, it has a tuned 26cc petrol Zen engine with a hand made tuned pipe, been clocked at 65mph fantastic boat, but space is running out so itβs been up for sale for a while. (Motor: Petrol tuned 26cc Zen) (10/10)

I always liked the sound of a fourstroke engine so I thought I would replace the brushless motor in this boat with an aircraft Os 40fs which I converted with a water cooling jacket that I turned up on my lathe. I also made a reverse gearbox with a clutch, the gearbox is operated by a servo and works well, I also fitted a water pump so could still cool the engine while ticking over stationary, boat has been weathered and is fitted with lights and a searchlight that swivels around operated by another servo, there is also a cooling fan above the engine just to help keep things cool. (Motor: Os 40 fourstroke) (10/10)

A friend gave me this half built in 1978, it has sat in my loft till 2 years ago when I decided to throw it away as it was all twisted and the hull had been built all wrong, but I thought I would have a go at trying to finish it off. The wood had dried out so had to replace a lot of it but this is how it turned out, itβs a great rough water boat and fast too, one of my favourites. (Motor: Irvine 60) (10/10)
