Thanks' Doug,
I remember reading somewhere that the space between props should be 1.5-2 times the diameter of the propellers, which calls for a minimum of 82.5.
Thank you for the reply

Hi All
I am building a 1.5Mtre PT boat, Running twin props, My problem is my gearbox is 78.6mm centre to centre running twin shafts with 55mm four bladed props. if I run them parallel I will not have enough distance between the props.
My question is would it be possible to run them in a slight "V"
TIA
Chris
