The hull of the Flower Class presents the peculiarity of very visible joints of sheet steel. Revell represented well it on its model in 1/72. I thought that in 1/48, he owed it's the same.

Today the hull is sanded an coated witch epox and glass fiber.
In the same time I began the building of the superstructures and the fitting
- First pic the bow (?)

Hello to all,
This year, I decided to build a well known ship of the British modelers because it is a corvette Flower Class.
I like very much this kind of ship who worked in a relative shade during the WW 2.
The first work was to find a plan .I was able to buy on EBay a plan in 1/96, after x2 of mains parts, me from the been able to to begin the skeleton of the hull in 1/48 what was the scale looked for for a comfortable navigation.
The hull is made from birch plywood for the frame, and balsa for the side of the hull. After a coat of fiber glass inside and outside to reinforce the hull.
