    Well Dennis. if good enough for the Spitfire and Mosquito then it's good enough for me. The reason I asked was because I thought I heard on the grapevine that elf and safety was trying to stop people using it due to whatever is in it. Might be totally off the mark here though.

    Hulls for both the Mersey and Oakley class lifeboat have been orders from Models by Design. Hope to have them some time mid to end of August 2013. As crew at local lifeboat station which has a Mersey Class lifeboat, I have relative open access to the station to take photographs.

    Interesting times ahead. How long will it take? Our station review takes place in September so we will find out a while later if our Mersey is being replaced. Probably by the time I finish, we will either have a Shannon, Atlantic 85, Jet SkI or just the D-Class lifeboat on station. 😁
