Hi all i have recently bought a AL KHUBAR and the deck is painted grey every picture i have looked at on google the deck is painted in green i would like to paint it green but just wondering what the best colour green would be best and what type of paint is best? Cheers George
Hi Paul yeah all good will post a picture of the fire boat it’s done 😁 yeah the pool is temporary we have took it down now but it will be back up in March I think. The pool is going to be bigger next year. Hooton is a great venue to be honest. Have a look at the photo it was taken at the beginning of the year mate.
Hello Paul well the bent shaft is another purchase i managed to find a complete shaft on eBay which is the same dimensions as the boat so hoping when it arrives it will fit but overall length is 230mm and outside diameter of tube is 8mm 😆 George

Yes I agree Stephen deserves a medal for keeping this site running i hope people relaise how much it actually costs to build a website never mind maintain it. I am no expert in websites but I no it costs a small fortune and no forgetting all the time it takes to keep it running.
Paul. Thanks for all the info and thanks for the offer of help i will kindly take you up on it if you don't mind could you pm me when you are available and I will call up and see you sorry to be a pain but I really want to get this boat right as there is something about crash tenders that I really like. Again I really don't know where we would be without the knowledge of the fellow boaters and this site 👍
Hi Paul it is a single screw not to bothered about budget to be honest was going to use a electronics 15 amp speed controller and a planet 6 radio gear buts that's as far as I got i have ordered a mfa torpedo 850 motor for it but can change if it's not right I am sure I will use it in another project 😁 thanks for your help

mike yes suppressors are required it helps to cut down the interference from the tx 1 capacitor goes from + to casing 1 capacitor goes from - to casing and last one goes from the + to the - pins on the motor hope this helps
