High Marky,
Couldn't help but notice people are callong you DOUG or am I confusing you with another reply?
Firstly I have bought from Lidl on many occasions. There German and quality as you would expect goes with that. Just don't leave it too long buying when it's gone it's gone and very unlikely to be repeated.
Mr RN in MUNICH. You do not have many Scots on board Munich boats RN or Not. Ask any SCOT who has an engineering background what a 'BOLT' is and he will reply it is a soldering iron. I learnt the hard way when with BT many years ago whilst in Scotland.
All the very best to all you modellers.
John Fastboat. Now in Rochdale, Lancashire.

Hi Chris,
Many thanks for contacting me. You are right I will be joining a Club and yours does look to be the closest to where I am now living. Which brings me to the point of contacting you re membership. Perhaps you could contact me via this sight.

Your set-up seems good. Howevertheseolder style American harbour TID style boats were not meant for speed, which this one clearly is. I accept that model scale speed needs to be up slightly to look OK on the water but this 12mph is more akin to a Fast Patrol Boat. OR am Imissing something!
Please don,t take this as a critisism as the rest of your published fleet seem great. π π

As I moved to Devon just over two years ago I am currently not a member of a club or have my workshop up and running. I have a substantial fleet of all types of boat and will hopefully get back into restoration and new models as well as getting my substantial fleet back to operational status.
The SITE allows me to keep in touch with current modellers and offer an association help where I can.

Not surprised with twin 540 motors. However, nothing wrong with over scale speed. Much better than plowing through the water like a tug! π

I think with two beefy out runners, 42mm props on 14.8 lipos it should be a very powerful boat. However I like big boats properly engineered. Well done. π

Got a similar 24" model due to be constructed, more for my Grandson than me. it's always good to get youngsters interested. I often used to put semI finished models showing all the internals on display at shows. Gets all people interested. π

This looks very similar to mine. I bought it as a damaged boat and it will undergo restoration also with two brushless motors etc. it should be quite fast as I imagine yours is. However it will probably be mid 2016 before its completed as my new workshop is yet to be completed and all my boats are in storage> π π―
