Dave and I agreed that today was not going to be a lifeboat day so my Aero Naut Classic and Dave’s Fairey Huntsman and cabin cruiser had a trip out. My DF65 also got its keel wet but I didn’t get pictures of that.

This was the second hull I built after my Mowe II and I’ve finally got away from the lifeboat’s and got round to adding the deck fittings. It has a 1500kv Overlander motor and goes like stink on a 3 cell lipo!
It’s a wonderfully stable planing hull too.
I’ve now painted the windshield to simulate the frame.

This week at Little Radford MBC we had two versions of RNLB Inner Wheel, RNLB The Princes Royal (Civil Service No41) and RNLB Elizabeth Rippon out and about they were accompanied by an Aerokits Diva and a RNLI Jet Ski.

I really rather like the TX it feels like a quality bit of kit and is in super condition, I can't though find a matching 9ch RX are there other brands of RX that happily bind with this Tx?

All of the lights work, nav lights, crane lights, deck lights and the blue light. The radar also rotates. In due course the wipers will also sweep the windows.

Well I have a GoPro but wanted to use something smaller than that. Boats 33-52 inches so a decent size but the GoPro is quite big. Resolution 1080p makes minimum, I’m not to fussed about first person view.
