Very nice bit of fiddly fabrication - again. I know how tedious it can be to make multiple copies of the same thing.๐

Not much remaining of the foghorn in the making of the loudhailer. Could it have been turned as one piece from a larger diameter plastic?

I also thought that - given the level of detail here - the track line could be added. Another excellent bit of modelling.๐

When you're done with boats you can start on dolls' houses. With that level of detail they would sell very nicely! I'll let your wife know your granddaughter wants one for next year.๐

........but you can do nickel plating at home quite easily. When polished it looks pretty good.

Beautifully intricate. Few will appreciate the effort gone into fabricating such detail.

That's the benefit of trial/experimentation. It's never a 'failure' as something is always learnt even if it's what doesn't work. Nice touch of realism in the hand grip.๐

Appalling quality control on the Halfords paint to have such different shades. I wonder which company actually produces their brand. And for the RAL mix to be so off-shade is disappointing but understandable in a way, as my cans of RAL7040 did not match any of the 'on screen' views of it, and nor would it as screen colour has too many variables to match a pigment colour. All that said, your boat has a terrific paint finish.๐

I do like the precise nature of 'hinging' the lettering into place. It's the detail which makes the model.

Maskol eh? I wish I'd known about that earlier as it would have made my masking job easier. Does it peel to give a sharp line definition?

The hoses, along with every other aspect of the build are really good. The boat is a credit to model making. it's wonderful that the asylum has these facilities, and modelling is such good therapy ๐. You must show the boat in action now. Well done bro.๐
