HI does anyone know where I can get some 1" push on replacement props for the ready built lifeboat (see picture) that the RNLI sells. I bought one for my grandson but I cannot find the props anywhere.

I got this model for Christmas way back in 2010 and have been slowly building it since then. its not quite finished yet but only needs the bottom of its hull painted. I'm hoping for a maiden voyage some time mid 2017. (Motor: 540) (5/10)

This is a model made by Lindberg. I bought it off ebay and it was in one hell of a state. I have installed new everything bar the propshafts and props. it should be up and finally running around August time. it would be quicker but I have 4 more boats in different stages of build and restoration. I have the torpedo tubes and all the sundries to fit on the deck yet plus the rest of the crew. I have not found the stanchions I want yet.
I will add more photo's when I have finished the (For all the purists out there its not going to be an exact replica, its going to be what I want on my PT109 RC boat. Hence the dashboard and other things sorry). Well it's now finished (yeah) I think it looks good and in hoping it will work fine on its maiden voyage. it finally had its maiden voyage on the 9th of July, everything went great. The plastic around the front is brittle because of age I presumed but it manages to hold together so no worries there. (9/10)

I built my Bruma about 20yrs ago to help me give up smoking.
It was my first plank on frame build and pretty easy to build and paint. it has been revamped twice in that time and remains a very nice little boat to sail. She seems to get lots of compliments wherever we sail. (8/10)

Yes I too was going to RC this little boat so I could sail it side by side with a 3ft one I bought to restore also off eBay. I'm sure I will get round to fitting all the tiny gear to RC it as long as I can get the spares needed and split the deck from the hull without damage to both. I have all the RC gear to do it I just lack the confidence to split it at the moment. I can see were they put the glue to hold the 2 bits so that should make it easier, a job for the the Dremel I think!

HI I have just bought a 16.5" Victory Industries RAF Vosper Tender but It's missing a few parts. So you can guess what I'm going to ask for I'm sure!
It's missing a part of the decking which I believe also has a crane on It plus the fire monitors & a life ring.
I would also like to know how to split the deck from the hull (the hull Is damaged below a propshaft fitting) before I go and kill It!!
It could also be for sale If the price Is right!!

Thanks for the reply. I did go to model slipway and buy all the parts they had but unfortunately they didn't do the mast (I see a market there for anyone who builds all the different size masts). The model at the moment weighs quite a bit but I think that's down to the 5mm of paint slapped on it. I will be putting a photo album of the restoration on the Model Boat website and there are a few photo's of the boat there already. Just go there and type in my prc9763 and have a look.
