This week's work went well. Got a bunch of little things done, cav plate for lower transom (brass .016 sheet and 8 hours of fun). Steering column, drop and wheel. Struts for the cavitation plate. I also got my paint under the first coat of clear. I used several different designs, all of which are simple and easy with an airbrush. Fist Silver Silver Flake sprayed on and then cleared and sanded, second came paint, I used a combination of Candy purple, Candy yellow, Candy orange, Candy blue, and black. Third step was 2 coats of spray max 2k clear (368-6061part #). Lace, mesh, fish scales, shadowing and fade where used. It really pops in the sun. The pictures just don't come out right, not at all. Sparkle and color are off. I will sand the entire boat and do 2 more clear coats. I will then sand 😔 buff and polish 😔 😐 😀 . I hope to update soon....Dave RR

Been working 4 days on the ugliest paint job ever...it's under final clear so I hope all my bolt ons add to the look (so far I am disappointed) anyway this is what I have for paint...somebody please voice your real opinion.....I really need it...it's not to late for a repaint 😛. Thanks Dave RR

Well, I can call this one ready to get wet. On the bench it's working very nice. The cog belt driven transfer case is quiet. Drivetrain has minimal noise and vibration. I am running 2 - 2s batteries. The speed control and motor can go to 6s. So I can play around with the voltage. 😜 We'll see how it does under a load. My local pond is hard to launch and retrieve (no dock to walk out on). Looking for another suitable place. So far so good 👍 Need some nice weather now! Thanks, Dave RR.

Hey JB, I have an ess dual sound module on the boat...makes it loud and obnoxious like the real thing. I will get a video as soon as I can. Life gets busy when you retire. So many things to see and do... I'm just loving it!!! Thanks for all the comments and help from all the builders on this site!
