Hasn't taking me a lot of time to make up my mind with the yard sale stuff . I do not like building static classic sailing ships but they do have real nice hulls so out came the saw & tug boat hull created I found a tug on google images so I will use that as a template. P/S the sail boat hull is the Graupner Optimist That I need to finish some day maybe 🤔

Hi Garth I know what you mean, as I have a Lilla Dan sail training ship as per the plans of the Billing kit.
But my one has the plastic hull of the Graupner Elke fishing boat, and stern to end of bowsprit is 36 inches loa. At this size she sails nicely. She is complete with crew as well, making use of 2 different scales of figures, a smaller scale for the boys and another for the crew leaders. regards Roy

That older tug looks much like a plastic Lindberg 1/72 scale model I had built once. Beautiful classic US tug lines.
