Almost sounds like a joke, like a "Left Handed Monkey Wrench." However, from the responses to these drill bits and a quick search they are somewhat common. Enjoyed πŸ€— the break!

Are they like the lefthanded paint brushes my father bless him, used to tease our next door neighbour about way back when. He used to say you will never get a good finish using left hand brushes, I can still see the neighbour scratching his head and hear him muttering.

Hi Jacko, they are useful for removing holes you drilled in the wrong place😁

    Hi jacko
Useful bit of kit. Aldi's website shows the Workzone 14 piece hand drill set and it is left handed. Was recently out of stock but they usually restock for items that sell. Amazon offer several left hand drills and I spotted several including one for a 31 piece set. This may be available to some of our overseas members. Both sets come with an Aluminium handle. For wood, plastic and soft metals they should be fine. Some reports on the Amazon site suggest the drills in the smaller sizes are not finished (honed to shape) at the cutting edge and may need to be sharpened (magnifying job). I think I will get myself a set as the handle looks reasonable.
    Thanks for sharing

As Mturpin013 said, they are great for removing broken bolts and studs.
Around here, Aldi is a grocery store, so I'm guessing I wont find them there .... sigh

EDIT: I did some online snooping. It appears that our Aldi grocery (only) stores are part of the same Aldi group referenced by jacko. I love their grocery stores here, and now I wish we had Aldi stores offering the expanded products available in Europe!
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

What is the box that they are in, grey with blue edge?
left hand twist drill are used to extract broken studs, the drill will if it catches screw the stud out rather than screw it further in
