So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

If something is needed during the year, I am allowed to buy it, if she has a wish, it is also fulfilled. It's take and give. . . that's how it should be, and that's why we only give each other a small gift at Christmas, which must not exceed a certain agreed value!

Well the Misses did good...she got me a Dumas Typhoon! I have always wanted to build this boat so here we go. I am very lucky to have her and her support for my hobby.
