Martin, I was using a ship simulator that was 3D looking, and had some small boats that were pretty neat trying to maneuver around. However I had a toss my old tablet which that app was on. I tried searching for it but could not find it, perhaps it was outdated and no longer available.
I just downloaded something called "Mooring" for my current Android tablet. Kind of simple, has an overhead view of the ship and the object is to move a ship from one point to another using helper Tugs while at the Docks. It does it does have good momentum effect. There are a lot more to select from, but I'll play with this one for a little bit.

There are RC boat simulator apps available for PC, Android, and Apple. Have not tried any for RC boats and I don't think I would use any for RC boat "training" as these average scale boats usually respond well unless they are heavy causing momentum issues.
I have a full size boat simulator on my tablet which is challenging and fun because of the built in momentum - delayed responses.

Looked at a Number of Simulators but I could Not download any of them? They all said that my computer is compatible, but None of the Download buttons would work as they are not Highlighted?🤞

I have used the flight sim for rc planes. Never tried rc boat sim. Sounds like it could be fun.

As a beginner to RC model boats I thought that a simulator to use on my PC would be a good idea to to help learn the art of RC boating and as we are in the winter months it means I don't have to get cold standing by the pond with my cabin cruiser Diva which I building at the moment.
If there are any recommendations I would be pleased to hear about them. Additionally, I would also like to know if members consider these online simulators to be waste of time.
