Does anyone know who did that sort of relaxing/sea stuff back about 1978,? LPs/tapes - the guy did a lot of it and was well known at the time. I had a GF who loved it (the music😉). Could have been someone like Leonard Cohen ?

I find that the throb of a diesel engine and a gentle swell always did it for me.
Never got any sleep on Dad's yacht as it was too quiet,
needed at least a triple rum.
Nowadays it's down to painkillers to get a few hours kip.

You probably saw this photo a few years back when someone, Peter (MouldBuilder) I think, ran a thread on 'Wedge' power boats.
I got curious so did some searching to find out what a Wedge boat is. This was one pic that popped up in a Pinterest search so I posted it as an example. Been in my archive ever since.
Peter complained that I had been 'spying' on his girlfriend😁

Back in the day when I was in Germany with the RAF there was a billet full of lads well about a dozen of us and one guy had a record player. The most requested was Caterina Valente LP at lights out. I never got to hear the end of it.
