Jumpugly, in case he doesn't reply promptly: it appears to be one of these. I purchased two off AMAZON recently. They come in a variety of turns, I bought 80T version, for the high torque at low RPM for my Springer tugs under construction. Includes blue/yellow leads with bullet connectors, not attached to the motor. It's a rock crawler brushed motor.

Thanks for the comments.it has been a bit of a head scratcher but safe to say watertight. Superstructure all new so once finished should last a good few years

Terry that's a stunning transformation, my main hobby is the saving and restoration of model boats and its not as easy as building new, and you've got the skill in spades.
Well done shipmate, cheers Colin.

Nice job Terry.
I enjoy seeing the old ones brought back to life.
It can certainly be challenging always running into something unexpected and figuring
out how to correctly repair it. Keep up the good work!

Hi Doug, I totally agree with you.

Anyone who knows how to restore is truly talented and is a model maker who is not easily discouraged.
I have never restored it. I imagined if the major trunk of a mainmast broke, for example.
What a pain if you can't repair it, a really complicated job with all the shrouds and ratlines to be redone.
Maybe one day, I will restore my father's beautiful motorboat.

Excellent job Terry 👍👍👍 "A Proper job!"
I know from experience that restoration, fixing defects, correcting original faults, can be more complex and frustrating than building new from a kit. KUTGW.
Looking forward to the Sea Trials.
Cheers, Doug😎
Young at heart 😉 Slightly older in other places.😊 Cheers Doug

Rescue mission

A little while ago I was given an old wooden tid tug hull that was rescued from a bin full of cracks and more holes than a lump of Swiss cheese. I got myself a plan and started working on her. Many hours of filling , sanding , fiberglass, sanding, undercoated, you all get the picture lol. So thought I'd show you lot my progress so far . Still a way to go yet.
Regards Terry...
Wouldn't go up in order but no worries
