Recently hand surgery
I had my Carpal Tunnel surgery done about 10 years ago now. It was a great feeling once the thing was sorted out. No repercussions from it now But I think I wouldn't be able to play a guitar my hand isn't that nimble, but it is nice to be able to sort different coins out in my pocket where before it was done I couldn't do much at all as I had not gone to the doctors and put it off for over 5 years. I struggled because I didn't like the idea of being awake when they done it, but when I had it done I thought I was an idiot as it wasn't that bad. The surgeon said it was one of the worst he had done, that was because I left it so long. Then I got Trigger finger on the same hand, had that done whilst I was awake, piece of cake. Nothing to worry about. It's just I just don't like the first injections. I have a needle phobia, I have passed out once in the past. 🤔 I even passed out once when I was with my brother in law when he was having a blood test and they couldn't find a vein.

Hang in there Ronald! The only lifting you need to do now, other than a glass of Scotch, is strip balsa and basswood! 😉

I’m not gonna be able to get a boat in the water for some while yet. I had carpal tunnel surgery yesterday, feeling fine but these things take time to heal. Limited activity and lifting, keep it dry too so no infection around the wound.
Surgeon marked where the surgery was to take place.
I was able to move fingers better this morning.
Feeling fine. the local nerve block is amazing.
