I've actually already designed the ladders, I'll add these to the shop shortly. They are actually wood and plastic combined. To be precise, it's 40% recycled wood with a binding polymer. This means they can get wet, won't swell and look like wood!

Lots of opportunity with wooden fittings too... 😊

I have the Huntsman 28 (Veron Design) and as you know a 3 foot and 4 foot Aerokits crashtender (Fireboat), all have very "true" scale fittings. if you want to borrow any or all to copy things no problem, we can meet up, and you can take them away.

The Huntsman fittings where very difficult to find as I wanted nickel plated, or aluminium.

Note, the 28 is not the aft cabin model, and its 4 foot long, its on my harbour stuff. I have blanks for vac forming the air vents, let me know by email or pm if you want anything

Yes, please send through your drawings and dimensions. I don't mind if it's PDF or just a scanned sketch. I'll then see if I can make them. Sometimes intricate tiny tiny parts are difficult but I'm happy to give it a go 😊

I've just finished a mostly scratch built Type 21 frigate 1/96th scale. I was hoping to source at least some of the fittings from Sirmar as they are/were the only ones working in that scale. I managed to locate some of the parts but have had to make most. The worst part to have to make lots of the life raft canisters. in desperation to get the boat finished I ended up cannibalising my model of a Type 22 so I still need some more. Similar with the Corvus chaff launchers, but there are only 2 per boat and I do know where there is at least one in kit form.

I have considered buying a kit and making up a mould and casting some afresh, or patiently making a load using some dowel and a lot of patience but if you can make some then great. I suppose the next question is what info do you need. I can draw one for you with dimensions and send a file (Illustrator or PDF) to you via PM.

They are simple parts for holding a 5,6 or 8mm carbon rod in place, I will need to send you a picture and maybe do a drawing.

Re Huntsman fitttings, I dont have a set of plans for the refurb I am doing, so I cant say what they are.

I wonder if anyone who has a completed huntsman could help out?

I am desperate for aluminium parts for my fast electric racing boats, most would be simple to make if you know what your doing ( but I don't ) can you help???

How about deck fittings for the 1:8 scale huntsman?

I'll have a go with those and let you know how I get on 😊 they're very easy designs.

Perhaps the Samson post and the two bollards in two sizes for the 34" & 48" fireboat would be a good choice Stephen, not easy to make if you have no lathe.
